CLASHING CALL is the final installment of Chufue Yang’s Senior Thesis Exhibition project for his BFA in Graphic Design, centered around his passion and want for inclusivity within the modeling and entertainment industries. Having experienced discrimination, isolation, and voicelessness himself while working in the field (more on his story here), Yang is applying his design, advertising, and modeling experiences to bridge like-minded talent and agencies in and outside of the Twin Cities market.

No prior modeling experience is necessary! MUST be based in or near Twin Cities, MN metro.

FINAL SUBMISSION DATE: 3/18/22

3 hours dedicated to a photo and video shoot. Food and drinks will be provided on set! Wardrobe and HMUA details will be provided after casting.

SHOOT DATE: Late March, early April (date will be finalized once talent is cast for scheduling purposes).

SET LOCATION: Image Studios, Minneapolis, MN

This project will be a time-for-print photo and video shoot. Media assets will include a new set of digitals, a model comp card, and a new set of photos for your portfolio. This project will not guarantee paid bookings or agency placement in the future but a career conversation with an industry professional will be facilitated for those interested in pursuing modeling after the project.

Once the project wraps, photos will be submitted to agencies locally and outside the Twin Cities Metro for possible representation!
