Nyob zoo (hello), all, and welcome.

Yo-Yo Ma said something along the lines of… “It takes three generations to make an artist; the first to leave poverty, the second to go to school, and the third to pursue their passions.”

My name is Chufue Yang/Tswj Fwm Yaj; I’m a child of Secret War refugees, a first-generation Hmong American, and an artist who wants to pursue my passions now.

Based in Mní Sota (Minnesota), I work as a commercial photo and video producer, storyteller, actor, model, and freelance designer. With a BFA in Graphic Design and an MBA (Project and Media Management) on the horizon, I sit at the intersection of creative execution and strategic leadership.

I bring this same pulse to the stage as a speaker and advocate. DEI, mentorship, and making a meaningful impact are at the core of my work, driving everything I create through my artistic and professional endeavors.

Navigate freely, and keep in touch.
